Appearance: Icesong is a fairly beautiful cat short-haired cat, sporting a sleek light silvery and white coat with black/gray tabby markings on his face and tail, and faint gray ones on his legs, and no markings on his body. His fur is rough but soft. His eyes are a faint baby blue, giving him a pet cat look. His appearance hinders his stealth in the summer, fall, and spring, but he is hard to spot in the winter. He is lean and long legged, giving him and elegent gait. His tail is long, giving him balance, which helps as he is agile and quick. However, despite his beauty the cold look in his eyes drives away most cats. He has many scars all over his body from skirmishes and battles with badgers and foxes and the like.
Personality: Icesong's name's prefix says it all. He is a social recluse, preferring the quiet noise away from camp, and is not seen around camp very often, and is found in the more peaceful and quiet places around the territory. He is hostile to everybody but can warm up, though it takes a determined mind. He always seems to have a stone cold look in his eyes, a look that shows he does not care much for most cats. It is a wonder to some that he's even in a clan, as his personality suits that of a rouge or loner. Most of the clan sees him a sort of hermit like cat, and tend to dislike him. This action further drives him away. He will most likely never find any real love for anyone accept his deceased father and mother, as he dislikes most of his clanmates. In many arguments and discussions, or even in the few conversations he has, he is indifferent.
Past: Icesong was named Icekit at birth for his snowy coat, and ironically it later grew to fit him both personality and appearance wise. He was always different from the other kits, and preferred to sit in the shade and sleep or watch from afar. He soon drifted far far apart from the others, and became the butt of many jokes and comments. This built a iron wall between him and his clan. But it became worse when both of his parents were killed in a border skirmish turned battle. Then he seemingly became mute, unable to communicate after the shock of the death of the only beings he had ever loved. But he was never mute. He just chose not to speak. But he had now fallen to a depth where most could not pull him out. He made no effort to find warmth in the company of others. Only the most kind-hearted of cats called his name when he received the name Icesong. That turned his indifference to dislike, though he never showed it, as he had promised his mother to help his clan and to not leave it's by far safer living to live the lonesome and even more dangerous life of a rouge. Since the incident, many moons have passed, and his heart is slowly healing, but he will never come to truly love his clan.
Sample: Icesong quietly padded through a quiet area, stopping to admire the silence. Then he kept walking. He scented the air. Nothing came to his nose. There was no prey here. The tom continued, passing the beautiful spring scenery while looking around with intrest. He would come back here later - it was quiet, away from the noisy bustle of the camp. A scent suddenly flowed into his nose. Mouse. He followed the scent, making his steps light and quick, and at last spied a small brown figure shuffling around in the greenery. It was scrawny, but it was better than nothing. The warrior slinked closer, but soon the mouse noticed his pale pelt and bolted. Icesong sighed in exasperation. Newleaf was good and all, but it was a disadvantage to him. He kept walking, leaving tracks in the soft mud behind him.
