Tigerstar watched his apprentice with dull eyes, "Cloverpaw this is boring," He looked down,"Would you like to have some battle training?" He asked with a spark of excitement. Tigerstar started to stalk off toward the direction of camp, he stopped and sniffed around. He scented mouse, and a hint of vole. "Cloverpaw" He quietly hissed, "Come over here and I want you to try and catch this mouse and vole" Without waiting he stalked off and jumped behind some bracken, "I will surprise her, to see if she listens to everything when she hunts" He mumbled to himself.
Tigerstar raised his haunches, waiting to spring. He hind paws raised high in the air, as if he was about to attack a rival clan Warrior.

Cloverpaw opened her mouth a bit, smelling the air for the scent of prey. She picked up a faint scent of mouse, and listened carefully to find it's location. After walking around a while, Cloverpaw finally spotted the tiny mouse hiding beside a nearby bush, digging at the ground. The stupid mouse was starting to make a lot of noise, digging and digging. The scratching noises were getting on Cloverpaw's nerves, so she leaped towards the mouse too early, missing it all together. The mouse finally realized something was wrong, and it ran as fast as it could (which wasn't very fast) towards another bush, that was dense and seemed much safer. Cloverpaw gave chase, she was easily faster than the mouse, and she pounced on it, killing it in a single blow.
Next was the vole, Cloverpaw could already smell the scent of it. She pricked her ears again, listening for the faintest of sounds. This one took a lot longer to find than the mouse, but after walking around a little bit, Cloverpaw finally spotted it near a bramble thicket. It acted smarter than the mouse, sitting quietly with it's ears flattened, perhaps it was sleeping. Cloverpaw crouched down instinctively, stalking very quietly towards the vole.
Note: Sorry it took a while for me to reply. =(

Tigerstar watched and waited for his apprentice to come over to where he was. He heard a small squeal as he instantly knew that she had killed the Mouse, "Now time for the vole" He grinned. Tigerstar's eyes widened as Cloverpaw walked right in front of him to catch the vole, just as he planned. Tigerstar timed his jump and leaped out of the brambles he was hiding in and used his extremely powerful hind paws to make a great jump. He extended his limbs to reach farther, and put all of his power into the surprise attack on Cloverpaw. Tigerstar grinned.
He hit Cloverpaw right on the side, or flank, and hit her very hard in the ribs. He then used his sheathed paws to get a firm grip on her back fur and dragged himself under her and used his great Hind paws to kick the young apprentice into the air. Tigerstar just growled at the apprentice, "Rule number one, Expect...The unexpected" Tigerstar smiled as he spoke.

The vole ran away as fast as it could, when Tigerstar jumped onto Cloverpaw. She let out a surprised hiss, feeling a strong hit right on her ribs, then all of sudden, she got thrown into the air, landing in a spiky bramble thicket. "Ouch..." Cloverpaw mumbled, untangling herself from the bramble thicket. "No fair!" she said, shaking her pelt to rid the dust and thorns. I better get revenge on him...
Cloverpaw glared at Tigerstar, pretending to walk by to look for the vole. But, instead of heading straight into a good hunting spot, she pounced on Tigerstar's back when she was beside him. Then, she held on with her sheathed paws, hoping she could stay on.

Tigerstar grinned but showed no weakness as he watched his strength over power his Apprentice. He tensed his muscles ready for an attack, he watched Cloverpaw's eyes as she moved. When she finally jumped she landed on top of him, Tigerstar stood strong, like the tiny apprentice was a mere leaf. "You're eyes will be your downfall" He snarled as he kicked up with his hind legs and bolted up, sending his apprentice reeling to the floor. "Hmph" He Grunted.
"When you are about to attack do not look at the spot where you are about to attack at, that will easily give you away. If I were a Nightclan warrior I would have torn you to shreds" He growled. He crouched and tensed his muscled, "Come at me again, with a combo move" Tigerstar's eyes gleamed with the hunger for battle.

Cloverpaw looked strangely at Tigerstar. He seemed so interested for fighting, and intent on it. It creeped out Cloverpaw a bit, and she was a little scared to fight back, in case Tigerstar might 'accidentally' unsheathe his claws. That would be disastrous, but it could very likely happen. He might forget it's just practice. She thought, tilting her head to the side.
Cloverpaw looked up, realizing that she was just standing there with her mind in space. "Right." she mumbled, embarrassed, walking quietly around Tigerstar in a circle, her bright green eyes looking at him. Once she was beside him, Cloverpaw looked at his ear, pretending that was where she was aiming. Then she leaped near his side, swatting at it with sheathed claws, and biting gently.
