A light breeze blew by, ruffling Tiger's pelt as he gazed out into the mesmerizing forest. It was all so beautiful, yet dangerous. There were many foxes, beavers and forest cats out there. The forest cats were very strange, they lived in weird groups called 'clans', and fought for survival. Tiger liked the idea of living in clans, but not the fighting for survival part. He enjoyed his comfortable, lazy life, but it was all so boring. Every day he would wake up, eat, play with the Twoleg's kits, and then sleep. This routine happened almost every day, and nothing interesting ever happened. The only adventurous thing Tiger had ever done, was exploring the forest. One day, he just decided to hop off his fence and stroll around for a few moments. He didn't see any forest cats though, and he hadn't went back there in a long time.
I hope there's some adventure today... Tiger thought, putting his chin on his brownish-orange paws.

As nights purple claims gave way to days blueish tint, it seemed there were no sounds of night, nor day. The forest still held its eyes closed. A sudden roaring echoed through the air, the birds of trees flying from their cover. why the heck did twolegs get up so freaking early...? A silver tom sat on the fence, gazing towards the forest. He knew what inhabited the forest, he knew it well. Warriors lived there. Clans thrived there. He new several of the warriors. But he doubted they remembered him. Silvern turned his clover colored orbs to the sky, where the sun would soon peak over the tree tops. He breathed in the scent of the forest, though it was tainted with twoleg stench where he was. Silvern debated with himself a moment. Suddenly he caught something in his silver casing. Twisting his head around, he heard the faint sounds of paws scratching a tiny bit on wood caught his attention, and he smelled a cat. Silvern heaved himself up, curiosity grasping him. He tottered a moment before trotting along the fence line. He was totally in two leg territory. His silver ear pieces glinted in the dawn of the day, and the shadows of the twoleg houses produced comfort from the glaring sun. He saw a small figure up ahead, and, with friendly blue eyes of curiosity, spoke to the feline." Hello." He managed, his voice a medium slightly lower voice, and rough from not talking much.

Tiger instantly sat up, clearly frightened as his orange fur fluffed up. The other cat was so much bigger than him, and his claws were definitely sharper than Tiger's. It was clear who would win in a fight.
"A-are you a kittypet?" the young cat asked quietly, his fur still fluffed up. There was no use asking the question though, the older wild cat didn't look at all like a kittypet. Perhaps he was a clan cat? "Or are y-you one of those clan cats, that I heard so much about..." Tiger added, backing away a little. The frightened kittypet was tempted to just hop off that fence, and retreat to his Twoleg's house, but curiosity kept him waiting for an answer.

(OMG i feel so bad about a late post!>.<) Silvern let a small purr of amusement escape his maw." I am not a kittypet, nor a clan cat." He purred, still amused. He sheathed his claws now that he was on a steady part of the fence, and sat down next to the smaller kittypet. He must seem so dangerous compared to the soft, chubby kittypet, he thought. He gazed out at the forest, his ear glinting in the light." I may not be a clan member now; but i was." He said thoughtfully. "Now i'm just a loner. Not quite fit for clan life, but to rough to make a good," He held himself from spitting the next word."kittypet." He shook himself at the thought of a soft, overfed life." But I'm sure it fits you. I'm Silvern." He said in a friendlier tone.

Tiger relaxed when the battle-scarred rogue showed no signs of aggression. "It doesn't really fit me..." the kittypet muttered, staring out - once again - into the wilderness. "It's comfortable, but boring most of the times. Tiger paused, glancing back at the rogue, still a bit frightened that he would attack while he had his back turned. "I don't think I like the idea of fighting, so I probably won't join a clan, but it would be more interesting than my average kittypet life." he added. "Do you think clans ever let kittypets in? How do you even get in a clan? But you wouldn't know, would you? Since you're not in a clan... The curious was eager to learn as much about clan life as he could, but he doubted Silvern could answer his questions.

Silvern tilted his head, eyes filled with a slight knowing and longing." Remember; i said i was in a clan before. I know about the thrills and dangers of clan life, and the difference from a soft kittypet life. You hunt for prey, sleep outside; its nice. But in leaf-bare food is scarce, and nights are cold." He said, as if he was relieving his first taste of clan life.
He paused, hesitant to reveal the next information." Clans, may, accept..kittypets." He murmured." I was a loner, living in a nearby barn, until my whole family burned in there when it caught fire. I was accepted into the clan, but i was pushed about and teased for my softness. I got over it quickly, and killed one of the apprentices one day. I never got over Nightpaw's death. Back then i was Silverpaw..." He trailed off.
"They let you in, but you have to work twice as hard to prove how great you are."

The tabby she-cat along a line of trees, as comfortable in a forest as the wild cats. Kittypet life was too boring, and too loud. She would run away, but the last time she tried that her twolegs came out rattling cans and screaming for her as if there was no tomorrow. The girl only went back because she didn't want to upset the wild cats. Her life sucked.
Her sharp blue eyes glowed softly in the darkness like chips of ice. Her lither form, was sleek and well-groomed, but she obviously caught her own food. Tho she was a kittypet, it didn't stop her from despising those rabbit pellets twolegs tried to serve her. She waited till the stupid creatures were gone before disposing it, making it look like she was eating.
As the female went along, her ear twitched as soft voices reached her. She turned her head toward the sound then took off swiftly as curiosity got the best of her. She emerged from the trees, her gaze lighting upon the two toms that sat on the fence. One was a large battle-scarred silver tabby, the other a plump orange-striped cat.
Raven blinked once, her paws stopping. She stood confidently, knowing her place, and narrowed her eyes slightly and tilted her head. She gave a small shrug and started to turn and leave.

Tiger listened quietly and attentively to Silvern, drinking in every word he was saying. So, kittpets could join clans. That was great news! Maybe, he, Tiger could try to join a clan. But it would be so hard, having to prove himself and work twice as hard. Leafbare didn't sound like much fun, Tiger didn't like the idea of food being scarce, he had never been starving before. Pricking his ears up, the plump tabby kittypet glanced around, spotting a brown tabby cat. Maybe she was in a clan?
"Hello." Tiger greeted, glancing around. He still wouldn't turn his back on Silvern, and was frightened on what the battle-scarred tom would do if he did "Are you a kittypet, a loner or a clan cat?" Tiger asked curiously, looking at the brown-tabby's sleek pelt. She didn't look like a clan cat, she looked like she was well-fed and well-taken care of. Maybe she's just a kittypet, like me. Tiger thought, swishing his tail.
