Characters Name: Raven
Clan/Group: Kittypet
Gender: She-cat
Age: 10 moons
Rank: Kittypet
Family/Mate: Doesn't live here
Appearance:
A red/brown tabby with darker stripes that clash beautifully with her fur (look at avatar). Has bright ice-blue eyes with a tint of grey that look like blue fire when she mad, or chips of ice when annoyed. She has nsowy white paws and chest/stomach/under tail. She has a delicate-looking build and a agile-shaped face. She could be an expensive cat.
She can look intimidatingly beautiful when angry, with bristling fur and bared teeth that catch the sunlight and glow silver. Her claws are much the same unsheathed and are always kept nice and sharp.
Her sleek fur, long tail, and nice face fit a perfectly beautiful cat.
Personality:
Raven is a friendly cat, tho she is cautious to strangers. Some say her mew is worse than her scratch, but really they haven't dared test it. She can look quite intimidating, tho still pretty, with bristling fur and unsheathed claws, teeth bared. She is understanding and comforting and eager to show Clan cats that she isn't a normal kittypet.
She doesn't like living with twolegs, wishing that she lived free like forest cats. But it wasn't to be. If she isn't home by midnight her twolegs come out, rattling a food can, and search the woods. It usually scares away the prey for the next day. She tried once to run away but they came after her, making so much noise she could have sworn that they could be heard for miles.
The woods were quiet, with no rustling of prey, for the next few days.
She is very adventurous and curious. She has sharp fighting skills and can hunt excellently, for a kittypet. She spends most of her days away in the woods hunting or exploring. Her fierce nature could scare even the bravest fox– or at least she likes to think.
Past:
It was dark. The comfort of Raven's mother had past long ago and her littermates were growing cold, one by one. One sibling fell asleep and never woke up. Another who had been crying for hours fell strangely silent. Her brothers and sisters didn't move, and she knew they had left her.
Her mother was gone, her father never known, and her littermates all dead. She was alone. Great big monsters started to pass her, flying across a solid black top that stunk live never before. Grease clung to the grass hardly a tail-length away.
Raven was getting hungry and cold. That scared her. She didn't want to fall asleep and never wake up. So she sat their, eyes closed in terror and mewled. One sleek monster swerved and stopped at the edge of the black top, asleep. Weird creatures, taller than foxes on two legs climbed out of the sleeping monster and walked toward her. She mewled louder.
One twoleg reached down with hairless arms and picked her up in it's paws. They were warm and gentle, and she could tell that she had fallen into friendly paws.
They climbed back into the monster, taking her with them. But she didn't care. She was growing warmer and knew food was on the way.
When she woke up she was in a round soft thing with soft pelts underneath her. She got to her paws and started to wobble around on unsteady legs. Her eyes blinked curiously at everything. She had never seen light before, all had been darkness the night before.
More twolegs came and went, pausing to coo at her. Some reached down and picked her up, gentle like the first creature. Finally, one took her in their paws and brought her into a new monster.
She was on the way to her new home.
Sample:
Raven breathed in the night air as she slipped through the open window unnoticed. Glancing up at the stars she leaped from the sill and sprinted across her yard, slipping past the fence and into the woods. She turned and watched her twolegs shut the window, unaware of their kittens sly escape, and turn off the lights. She purred. Finally, she was free for the night.
She jerked her head as a screech owl hooted above her head and crept into the shadows where the bird was unlikely to see her.
Now I can see if the legacy the loners told me about is true,She told herself, I'm gonna see the clans....
Other:
Refuses to eat kittypet food, likes to hunt for herself. Is able to sneak out every night and day and explore the woods.
