Cyanstar finally found Hazelheart at the river. He walked straight up to her noticing how much of the same size they were. "Will you be my deputy. I've seen how loyal you are to your clan." Cyanstar said with the doubts of her crossing through his mind.
"Where have you been, I havent seen you all day?"

"Y-your deputy?" Hazelheart stammered, surprised and frightened. Deputy was a huge responsibility, and if Cyanstar died, using up all his nine lives the deputy would become leader. Hazelstar Hazelheart thought her leader name. That sounds pretty cool...But I wouldn't want Cyanstar to die!
Hazelheart realized something important, just as she was opening her mouth to say yes. "But, I haven't mentored an apprentice yet!" she said sadly. A deputy needs to have mentored at least one apprentice before they take on the position of deputy. It was against the warrior code not to, and Hazelheart defiantly didn't need the anger and punishment of Starclan.
